Monolithic Slab Foundation

The concrete structural elements of Meta Steel Buildings in Calgary are constructed using monolithic slabs, including slabs, footings, grade beams, foundations, columns, and piers. The concrete structural materials are poured at the same time in this method. A monolithic slab can be applied to suspended slabs as well as to concrete cast on the ground.

In order to make the pour stable, concrete columns and beams are used to support the slab. As a result, the concrete slab is suspended above the ground level.
